Cervical Screening

From Monday 6th June 2016  the eligible age-range for the Scottish Cervical Screening Programme will change from 20 - 60yrs to 25 - 64yrs. Changes to the frequency of screening will also be introduced at the same time.  

Women aged 25 - 50yrs will be routinely invited to arrange a screening test every 3yrs. However, women aged 50 - 64yrs will be routinely invited to arrange a screening test every 5yrs.
