Practice Manager – Ullapool, Scottish Highlands
37.5 hours per week – negotiable
Our thriving, fully staffed, forward thinking medical practice offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as Practice Manager.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with excellent people skills, someone who is quick to learn and forward thinking, who has confidence and ability in managing staff, preferably with HR experience. Good financial acumen and excellent IT skills are also essential.
A full job description is available on request, but essentially you will have full responsibility for the smooth running of the practice and for implementing practice development under the guidance of the Partners. You will be seated on our Board at strategic level as well as managing at an operational level. You will have the benefit and counsel of our retained Management Consultant if needed. There is also a requirement to fulfil an administrative role at times.
This is a full time role with salary to be negotiated based on previous salary and experience. Working hours can be negotiated.
We are a rural practice with 2,400 patients, 4 partners and a full team of nursing and administrative staff. We have a main surgery and two branch surgeries and provide high quality, person centred primary care. Although are located in on the scenic West Coast of Scotland we are only an hour away from Inverness, with good facilities and transport links.
Previous experience as a Practice or Assistant Practice Manager preferred, however other outstanding candidates with relevant experience may be considered.
